While some older reviews complained about poor packaging, my log hoop arrived in a thick, flat cardboard package. Very securely packed. It was a snap to put it together.

Looks and works great on my back door porch.

As others have stated, this item is about 36 inches wide. Measured from ground to the top, it is 40 inches high. A first, I was annoyed by this because I wanted to be able to store as much wood as possible. But it turns out that it holds a surprisingly large amount of wood nevertheless.

Recommended.

I agree with Elizabeth, no box, powder coating scratched either by the manufacturer loading into a truck or in transit. Totally not worth it, what were they thinking? I also agree, should be no stars on this item, and more importantly on this company.

I received this item with no box leaning against my home where UPS left it. It was just two hoops taped together with an address label in tatters taped to it. A day later, in my garden, I found one bracket only. There were no legs on it and no instructions on how to set it up. This is the worst I have ever seen and do not recommend it to anyone. I'm trying to return it but cannot seem to get in touch with the supplier. The charge has been disputed, wish me luck!!! By the way, I wanted to give it no stars but it wouldn't go through that way.
